Sort of on both topics
I think Spurs should have attacked Antonio more. I saw very little on the wings from and so the longer balls to Kane were pretty straight. Having Walker and Rose might have helped there. Lamela and Chadli seem to drift in at the best of times, not that it hasn't work in the past. But we put three centre backs there and the central midfield two had great games.
But moving on this game, I am wondering if we need something more than wing backs as defence on the wings. Kone could play wide on the Antonio side, Oviedo is doubtful that leaves Baines, who should not be a problem at this point but always is.
Antonio for me, has run and run and done very well as RB or wingback but really has not been up against a concerted attack on the wing yet. So do you protect him a bit again with three centre backs, when we don't really have three centre backs or chance it.

Remember at West Brom a few years back - KEVIN KEEN was in charge and we had Bellamy on the bench.
We were losing and all singing for Bellamy to come on. He didn't.
Afterwards, Keen said he heard the chants but said he couldn't bring him on cos he was injured. A named substitute. But injured.

As for Sakho, of course he could have started if bilic had wanted him to.

We don't have unfit players on the bench but that doesn't mean they're fully fit. There is a difference.

Kaka, Kyle and walker don't rotate every game.
Rose rotates more than walker from what I can see but both are their best full backs.
Son has also started the last 3 league games.
If Ali is fit enough to be on bench he's fit enough to start.

I think sometimes resting players can disrupt momentum.
I think Slav is of the refreshing mentality where he wants to win every game. I would imagine he'll be picking the best team tactically to get a result at Everton.
